Dental Implants: The Gold Standard in Tooth Replacement Solutions

No Other Replacement Option Compares to Dental Implants

Tooth loss is a common concern for millions of Americans. In fact, nearly 180 million people in the U.S. are missing one or more teeth. As a commitment to providing our patients with the best in dentistry, Dr. Arta Farahmand recommends dental implants for tooth replacement, when the natural teeth are not recommended to be saved, as they are the next best thing to your natural teeth. Nothing else compares to implants’ ability to replicate both the root and crown portions of a tooth. In addition to their natural look and feel, implants also support bone health and reduce the risk of bone loss attributed to tooth loss. No other replacement option prevents and even encourages bone growth as dental implants do, deeming them the gold standard in tooth replacement.

Replace One or Many Missing Teeth

Whether you are missing one tooth, or an entire arch, we have implant options available.

Single Missing Tooth:  Even one missing tooth can cause bone loss and affect surrounding teeth. Replacing a tooth with a dental implant can help restore aesthetics and help preserve oral health.

Multiple Missing Teeth- We can replace many missing teeth with multiple implants that will seamlessly blend into your smile.

Full Arch Tooth Loss- Removable dentures is a common full arch replacement option, yet can cause discomfort, limited eating and speaking abilities, and contributes to further bone loss caused by missing teeth. Full arch dental implant options allow us to place between 2-8 implants and attach a custom prosthesis or bridge on top, proving a complete, secure smile.

Dental Implant Process

Dental Implant Procedure

Our office stays up-to-date with the latest in dental technology and uses computer guided implant dentistry to plan your procedure in advance. With this software we have the capability to first virtually place the implants in the mouth and have the restoration or tooth made in advance. This allows for the most accurate, atraumatic, predictable placement of a dental implant and fabrication of the crown. During the actual placement procedure, local anesthetic is typically administered to begin. The gums are folded back and space is prepared for the implant. Dr. Farahmand then surgically places the implant into the bone and it is allowed to heal for about four to six months before the crown portion is connected.
