This web site has been developed so that we can answer some of the questions you may have about the services we provide at our office. Our office is committed to providing quality periodontal care. Our patients are our practice.

On Your First Visit

Your first visit to our office will consist of a thorough oral exam to assess your current periodontal status, as well as overall dental and medical health. This will provide us with important information about you and your personal goals. Dr Farahmand will discuss your responses with you so that she can become more familiar with you and your overall health status.

Assuring Your Comfort

We want you to be as comfortable as possible while in our office for treatment. We will do everything we can to assure your comfort.

Most of our procedures are performed with local anesthesia. Depending upon the patient and the procedure, Dr. Farahmand will discuss with you other options for sedation.

Assuring Your Safety

Your health is our number one concern! We adhere to what is called "universal precautions." These procedures include wearing gloves, masks and protective eye wear; sterilizing periodontal instruments and hand pieces and the use of other protective measures to ensure the safest possible treatment.
