Dr. Farahmand received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School. She then completed her periodontal specialty certification at Emory University School of Post Graduate Dentistry. She currently serves as clinical surgical instructor at VA Wadsworth Hospital in Santa Monica in the Periodontal division. She has been practicing periodontics for more than ten years in Torrance. She is a member of American Dental Association, California Society of Periodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and is on the board of Trustees of the Western Dental Society.
